there were a lot of projects that were conducted. i was assigned to demo for a "make & take" project on creating a cover for a memo pad. i also did an impromtu demo on making a shadowbox layout.
it was so much fun seeing all these people enjoy doing what they love best -- scrapbooking! there were also a lot of suppliers that day selling scrapbook stuff. i was such a good girl coz i didn't spend anything there. actually, i had to stop myself from buying anything since i'll be going to u.s by next month.
and by the way, i won! my friends joanne and sl conducted a "groovy sixties & hip seventies" challenge a few weeks before the scrapfest. i made a layout which featured me when i was 3 years old. anyway, i just thought it would be fun to submit it there. little did i know that i'll end up winning 2nd place! i got a few papers and a paper holder and a photo organizer from joanne & sl. i had so much fun that day! here's the layout that made me win:
