this is my entry to journaling junkie's challenge #57. we are to talk about the lessons we've learned from our moms, or lessons we'd like to pass on to our kids.

here's a layout for my mom. when my friend gigi, saw this picture of mama, she blurted out "impostora!" coz my mom looked very kikay in this photo. the first time she met my mom, she said she looked so prayerful and so prim and proper. but she got deceived. lol!

well, that's my mom. she may look serious at times but she's definitely one sassy mama!

"Always be true to yourself," that's what you always tell me. A life lesson which I've only appreciated recently. With you there are no pretensions, you say what you want without hurting anyone. I will follow by your example and will share the same thing to my future kids. (March 28 '09)

materials used: patterned paper - prima, scenic route, we r memory keepers; die-cut - scenic route, we r memory keepers; alpha sticker - pink paislee; rub-ons - heidi grace; glitter glue; pen - staedtler triplus
