my "where are we?" layout was picked as one of the winners for their february monthly challenge!
i actually have to thank pia for telling me about that challenge.
you see, i made that layout not knowing there was actually a rub-on challenge at scenic route. i've been wanting to finish that layout when we had a mini-eb. but when pia saw my layout, she had to literally shriek and tell me to stop what i'm doing and revise some of the elements in my layout to fit that challenge.
i had to immediately buy from vivian the rub-ons just so it fits the requirement.
but! it wasn't easy rubbing that thing on my layout! some of the letters were left on the paper backing and i had to literally use the tip of my cutter to transfer each letter one by one on my layout!
looking back at it, it was all worth it winning in this challenge.
here's the actual layout:
materials used: SR Travel Mini Words Rub-ons, Cape Town Travel Chipboard, Embellishment, Grey Grid on White Background, Cape Town Patterned Paper; Others - Chipboard Circle (Junkitz), Alphabet Chipboard (American Crafts), Film Negative - Digital Element by Katie Pertiet, Alpha Stickers - EK Success, Stitching Guide - Simply Scrappy, Thread
