this is a new challenge i joined online over at itty bitty scrap.
this is a 6-week challenge and contestants are eliminated each week.
what's good baout joining such challenges is that you're "forced" to create a layout each week regardless if you're busy or not. there are guidelines given which also pushes your "creativity." and, at the end of the whole challenge, win or lose, you end up with lots of finished layouts. isn't that great?!
the challenge started off 2 weeks ago with the auditions. last week was the first challenge. fortunately, i still made it to this week's challenge. deadline for submission will be on thursday.
the task for round 1, use only a cardstock, 2 pcs. of patterned paper, alphas (any kind), buttons and handwritten journaling. i used a photo of marga, my niece, when she attended the halloween party here at the office in 2005. the photos were taken at mcdonald's before we brought her home.
here's the layout i submitted for round 1.
materials used: cardstock - dcwv; patterned paper - a2z essentials (sunshine blooms & sunshine daisies); american crafts alphas; sakura pen; buttons
