boracay '06

just finished this layout last week. it's actually been a work in progress for almost a month now but i was finally able to finish it last week.

i've learned an important lesson while doing this layout -- stop if you need to!

just to share a bit, i've wanted to use the imagination project papers on this photo since early this year. i always keep on coming back to these papers but i just can't seem to get the drive to finish the layout. so it sat there for months. that is until i discovered that i have this "summer" transparency. and that was when the idea just started to flow!

so, if you want a layout done and you just can't seem to find the right groove to finish it, stop. leave it there. just come back to it if you feel like it already. and i'm pretty sure you have a whole new perspective and you'll be able to finish things in no time.

materials used: creative imagination - transparency; imagination project - patterned papers; fancy pants - chipboard; sizzix - sun and title; making memories - acrylic paint and glaze; rikrak
