election 2010

i can't believe it's been a year already since our country made history in the 2010 elections.
it was the first automated election and the fastest election count we've ever had.
and of course, finally electing a new president after almost 10 years in tenure of the previous one.
there's still much to expect from the current administration and work still continues.

for me, the best way to remember that historic day is to document our experience in a scrapbook layout.
we all got to vote, except for my mom whose records, unfortunately, were used by a "flying voter."

materials used: cardstock - canson; patterned paper - scenic route, echo park; puncher - martha stewart, ek success; ink - versa magic; chipboard - provo craft; sticker - pink paislee; font - veteran typewriter; others - buttons
