i used a coluzzle file folder template for the die-cut and also a few imagination project circle die-cuts. again, no new materials were used here. the newest item here is the grungeboard which i bought back in 2008.
that's my uncle, my cousin and my nephew on the layout. both my uncle & cousin are graduates from the pma and my nephew is thinking of going there as well. thus, the title and the focus of the journal.
i also used this layout for issa's weekend challenge over at scrappin kids. stripes, stars and buttons must be used on the layout. i had the stripes, i had the stars, i just added the buttons.
Materials used: Buttons; Chipboard - Heidi Swapp; Die-cut - Imagination Project; Die-cut template - Coluzzle; Dymo Tape; Grungeboard - Tim Holtz; Ink - Chalkbox; Marker - Sharpie; Patterned paper - Imagination Project, Scenic Route; Pen - Zig; Rickrack; Sticker - Making Memories; Thread
i love all the black elements you added, they totally pop against the blues and grid pp
