gift for a princess

well, i am home and making the most of this long vacation. there's lots of projects to finish and i need to catch up on some deliverables too. i finally have a dsl at home. no need to wait until next week before i can even post anything. i still have an errand to finish.

leaving you with a layout i did for journaling junkie's challenge 54. the challenge is to use a sequence of photos. you still have until april 14th to create and submit your layouts. i created this using photos of my niece aly. journal:
The anticipation, the excitement, it's written all over your face as we were about to give your gift. The element of surprise made you feel giggly. Then it was finally time to reveal your gift. Oh that look on your face was priceless. Barbie Princesses are your favorite and this was no exception. Opening it was your priority. And no one can stop you! Good thing we captured your reaction, princess.

materials used:
patterned paper - webster's pages, tinkering ink, autumn leaves, kelly pannaci; chipboard - fancy pants; alphas - doodlebug, making memories, american crafts; flowers - prima; brads, acrylic paint - making memories; acrylic stamp - autumn leaves; ink - colorbox; embossing powder - ranger; bling; tools - fiskars

by the way, i received this award from timi and chiqui. took me a while to post it here. thanks ladies for this one!
