shopaholic

okay, i don't think i need to elaborate on this. let's face it, you and me are the same when it comes to scrap shopping but in varying degrees. there are those far worse than me and vise versa.

so relish my confession as i admit to one scrapbooking habit that is so hard to break!

note: the photo is too bright. lately, i've been having issues taking a photo of my layouts. i still have to find the right spot in our house where i can get a decent photo with the right natural lighting. i have to settle with this for now.
and i forgot to mention that this is my layout for challenge 51 at journaling junkie. submit your layouts and get a chance to be our gdt for march.

journal:
Okay, I admit it! I am a compulsive scrap shopaholic. For years, I’ve accumulated a lot of stuff enough to fill a room. There’s the countless magazines, the non-stop patterned paper hoarding, the colorful flowers that I buy in bottles. Gosh! I can’t even remember the day I didn’t want any of these. I don’t think I’ll live without these stuffs in my possession. But then again, these photos are just the tip of the iceberg. So what do I do? I think it’s time I seek medical attention. Any psychologist willing to take on my case? Hmm, I hope she’s a scrapbooker too so she’ll know what I’m talking about. Oh come on! Tell me, don’t you just love the smell of these new papers, the feel of those flowers on your hands… Stop! Enough! I need therapy… uhm, shopping therapy?…

materials used: patterned papers - making memories, sassafrass lass, a2z essentials; chipboard - junkitz, akoser crafts; rub-ons - creative imaginations, american crafts; felt - american crafts; stickers - 7gypsies, making memories; paper frill - doodlebug; glimmer mist - tattered angels

  5. Hey Liza! I can relate too! But I'm happy to say that I managed to exert some control on my scrap spending. For one, I only had my 1st scrap-shopping for the year this week and I totally did not break the bank. :D Well, too early to tell really. But if it makes us happy...
