wild wild west

it's been a while since i've actually last posted a layout.

i've finished this already more than a month ago but only had the chance to post now.

this is a photo of ours taken at san antonio, texas last october 2006. the western clothes we were wearing were actually just placed over our actual clothes. the photo was a good way of capturing the feel of the old west.

nelo bought those miniature hat, gloves and boots as part of his collectibles. but when i was planning for the layout, he suggested that i incorporate those items here. a very good idea which added to the unique feel of the layout.

materials used: patterned paper: cosmo cricket - wanted collection; stamps: lil davis (scroll), fontwerks (title), hero arts (script on photo corner); paint: lil davis; ink: tim holtz; chipboard: basic grey; pen: sakura micron & aqualip; others: twill rope, miniatures - cowboy hat, gloves and boots
